Ayaz Anis Khan first burst onto the scene in 2008 with his innovative take on contemporary photography. A trained chartered accountant by qualification with a restless spirit and an inherent creative streak, a well-paid job in the corporate sector didn’t seem to fulfill his ambitions, so Ayaz decided to abandon his job and go for some short technical courses in photography.
Ayaz Anis’ nomination for the Lux Style Awards in the category of Best Emerging Talent in Fashion 2010 and Best Fashion Photography 2011 and 2012 has proved that not only is he finally being taken seriously as an artist, but also that his photography is one of the most compelling in contemporary fashion photography.
